First of all WHY SHOULD IT MATTER?
What should matter is their talent, and they have that.
Yes, they are beautiful woman, but their talent is what gets them these roles.
People shouldn’t forget that.
Who the fuck even says that Marvel women need to be pretty? Is there some sort of comic book movie guide which states that females are only there to be looked at and appreciated simply for their physical attributes? Jesus Christ.
All the sexism aside, to say that Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone are not pretty is really dumb. It’s perfectly fine not to find them attractive - pretty =/= attractive to you personally - but to deny the objective fact that they are pretty is stupid. I mean, I acknowledge that Brad Pitt is a handsome man - yet I find James McAvoy much more attractive. Personal preference.

I don’t think anyone knows what’s going to happen in the series. However, I will continue to be on it, until he eats me,” Anderson says.

Can I still be considered a part of the Star Trek fandom even though I’ve only seen the new movies?
I’m guessing not, but I’d still really love to be one of you guys. (Especially considering I was 9 when the last movie (before the 2009 one) came out. So hopefully I can be forgiven for that.)
the star trek fandom might be the nicest so far wow
good job star trek fandom you keep truckin on
Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same thing. The amount of hatred I encountered in this fandom as a fan of the new movies was topped only by the flood of spite and vitriol I came across in the X-Men fandom as a fan of XMFC, because I didn’t think that Charles was a privileged bigot only dangerously naive.
Apparently, I’m not a “real” fan because I love this Kirk and this Spock and this McCoy and this Uhura better than their ST:TOS counterparts - yes, I’ve seen the old show. Oh, and let’s not forget the Trekkie’s arrogant dismissal of the Benedict Cumberbatch and Sherlock fans who joined the Trek fandom and who now dared (!!!) to call themselves Star Trek fans just because they stanned for that “ugly lizard”. So much hatred I felt sick. I hoped this fandom would be more open minded.

Hugh Dancy in Confessions of a Shopaholic!
Saw Now You See Me yesterday. Incredible visuals. And the twist at the end. THE TWIST! I almost clapped my hands and bounced with glee. That was so, so cool! I need more movies with Mark Ruffalo in my life!
I love the way Bones pulls back in the last gif, like “You wound me!”

IT REALLY ANNOYS ME HOW ONLY GIRLS GET CALLED OUT FOR SWEARING TOO MUCH BECAUSE “ITS NOT LADYLIKE” FUCK YOU IM NOT HERE TO BE “LADYLIKE” IM HERE TO KICK ASS
Agree with the first part.
Disagree with the second. Kicking ass and being a lady is somehow mutually exclusive? I think Lara Croft, Felicity Smoak, Nyota Uhura etc. would disagree.
